GRACEFUL LADY MAINTAINED HER VIGIL OVER A DARKENED HARBOR


 GLOWING BEACON: As a photographer was shooting calendar pictures of lower Manhattan at dusk, out went the lights--and left the Statue of Liberty shining in lonely splendor.  ISLAND OF LIGHT: Its decks outlined by strings of light powered by her own generators, the Norwegian-American passenger liner Sagafjord lay at her Hudson River mooring.
